Magical getaway, great amenities
If you are thinking of a break in Portsalon, don’t pass up on staying at this house. Everything you will need, warm, clean & comfortable. The beach is also amazing Thanks Margaret for all your help and of course the beautiful bread.
Amazing Place
We’re familiar with the area and were especially lucky to get a gloriously sunny week. A more beautiful setting, you will not find and this house is in the perfect location to enjoy the beach, pier, golf course, pub, restaurant, etc. The house has everything you could need and is clean, comfy and cosy. It’s situated in a brilliant cul-de-sac which was ideal for my young kids to play safely. The views are breathtaking and can be enjoyed from the patio where the sun stays all day long. Excellent v…
Perfect Portsalon
We had a fabulous time in the cottage. It was warm and comfortable and everything that we could have wanted. The beach was just superb. Rita’s is warm and welcoming and the food at Sarah’s is excellent – I can recommend the chowder. Its in Ireland but we think its a small piece of heaven. I would have no hesitation to recommend this to all our friends. Thanks!
Excellent Stay
We had an absolutely fabulous time. It was extremely relaxing and the scenery in the surrounding countryside is inspiring. The nearby restaurant served wonderful food and gave us a hearty welcome.
Absolutely fantastic
We very much enjoyed our recent stay in Portsalon at 10 The Gardens. The house is well appointed and comfortable. Its star attraction however, is its proximity to the beach – particularly with children on board.
Lovely location in Portsalon
We had 2 lovely days over Easter at the cottage and really loved it….we wished we could have stayed longer! The cottage was very welcoming and the location was just perfect!

In the cottage you will find all items you need for cooking and cleaning place is ever so clean. And comfy cant wait to go back again and have passed details on to my family and friends scenery is breath taking and fishing not bad to.
Portsalon
A perfect getaway!!! A beautiful spacious house that has everything you could possibly need in a wonderful location with an amazing beach. My children had a wonderful time and really didn’t want to leave. Margaret made us feel really welcome with her delicious home made bread and advice on the local area. We would highly recommend this property and would definitely would like to return in the future.
Amazing place to stay really didn't want to leave!
My partner and I stayed here and was amazed at how many people were able to stay here. All up, six people could stay here comfortably. The lounge is a great open space with the ceiling going all the way to the roof. Was a great stay for us because we were travelling round Europe and this house had a washing machine and drier. Just down from the house is the local pier and a restaurant, which I’m sure is open in summer. The house is great but the thing that made it special for us was its location…
Throw away the phone and enjoy the peace, quiet and fresh air.
